Biodome of Montreal

This project involves the transformation of Montreal's former Olympic Velodrome into an ecological museum housing four "artificial" ecosystems.

This museum displays integrated environments including not only geology, topography and vegetation, but also animals living in the closest possible approximation of their natural habitats. When opened to the public in June 1992, this facility was unique in the world and soon became a stimulating learning centre for everyone.
