The mandate granted but the Trust of the cultural heritage of the Augustines (La Fiducie du patrimoine culturel des Augustines) à WAA aimed to create a place of memory as a continuation of the initial mission of the Augustinian sisters of medical care whose responsibility was to care for the body and mind. In addition to rehabilitate the buildings of the monastery and transform them into a wellness hotel complex. The exterior landscape extend’s the visitors’ experience in gardens adorned with plants inspired by the original monastery and offers several areas of relaxation and contemplation.

As the monastery was largely transformed into the functions of hotel, museum activities as well as physical and mental healing, it also had to meet the needs of the premises programming while being especially respectful of the environment.
