This forward-thinking Senior Living Community offers a timeless and sustainable landscape that has been sensitivity designed to respect both its natural environment and the needs of its residents.

The existing network of canals naturally subdivide the site into 5 plots, forming the groundwork for the landscape’s ‘Four Seasons’ concept. These thematic gardens encourage interaction between residents by offering an array of social spaces for both active and passive activities. Covered walkways, gentle slopes, barrier-free design and a clear separation between pedestrian and vehicular traffic provide safe and convenient access between buildings.

Raingardens were seamlessly integrated into the landscape and the planting plan features over 180 species and nearly 2,000 trees, adding to Qingpu’s rich biodiversity. All of this helps position Ardor Gardens as a model landscape for China’s ‘Sponge City’ initiative.
