Project Narrative

On September 13, 2006, Dawson College experienced a senseless attack resulting in the death of student Anastasia De Sousa and injury to several others. The Peace Garden was proposed as a living testament to those who suffered pain and immeasurable loss. The garden will grow with a variety of native flowers and shrubs, and pathways will be built in the shape of infinity loops, circular and flowing, that will not only beautify the grounds, but benefit local wildlife.
