RUIHONG XINCHENG STREETSCAPES

WAAs urban design of these community streetscapes offers a unified, contemporary image for the whole of Ruihong Xin Cheng and enforces the forward-thinking neighbourhood planning principles of Shui On Land - to promote friendly, safe, human-scale communities.

The team approached this project from both a design and place-making perspective. The design not only proposes a clear, unified vision for the paving, lighting, planting and street furniture, but also offers innovative details and spaces that meet international community planning standards: reduced curb radii, separated bike lanes and other traffic calming techniques all help to create a safe and comfortable world-class neighbourhood.
